Alaska Youth for Environmental Action (AYEA) is a program that inspires and trains youth leaders to impact issues by providing leadership skills training and supporting youth-led community action projects and campaigns. AYEA has engaged over 5,000 teens since it started in 1998 through an array of local and statewide campaigns and projects. Youth in AYEA come from a diverse array of cultural, geographic, economic, and social backgrounds. AYEA is a program of The Alaska Center.
Our Children’s Trust is a nonprofit organization, elevating the voice of youth, those with most to lose, to secure the legal right to a healthy atmosphere and stable climate on behalf of present and future generations. OCT leads a coordinated global human rights and environmental justice campaign to implement enforceable science-based Climate Recovery Plans that will return atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration to below 350 ppm by the year 2100. www.ourchildrenstrust.org
